Carpe Librum Used Book Sale

Come on out to support a good cause! Multiple times throughout the month of November Unity Park and Civic Plaza will be hosting the Carpe Librum Book Sale. 

The Unity Park Used Book Sale takes place on November 13th from 10 am – 5 pm, and every second Sunday of each month! They will be selling used books, CDs, DVDs, and vinyl records, all on sale for under $6. 

The Civic Plaza Used Book Sale takes place on November 27th from 10 am – 5 pm!

Carpe Librum is a donation-based used bookstore benefitting the DC nonprofit Turning the Page. 

Turning the Page engages Washington D.C. parents as educators in resource-rich programming, sharing opportunities for 

parents to become active participants in their child’s education. With an aim to build a community of parents, caregivers, 

public schools, and community partners, leading to improved academic performance and social-emotional well-being.
